"Hello" 2014 - Card #1-14

A very simple "Hello" card to start off 2014. I made this card using a kit from Dawn O of DO Stamping with Dawn. I love her monthly kits and I can't wait to get the January set. I skipped a few months because I was back logged, now that Christmas is over I am catching up with all my unfinished projects.

Card #81, Another Hello Card

I always have fun making patch work type cards, I am loving the new petite label punch and stamp set from Stamping Up.  I used papers form the March Simon Says Stamp card kit.  Very nice kits and they are a bargain.

Card # 58, A Square Card

This is a 5x5 square card I made for Operation Write Home in 2011. They prefer the cards have few embellishments and be as flat as possible. No glitter at all is accepted due to the fact it could endanger our troops by making them visible at night.

Card 17, Patchwork Hello

I am pretty sure I CASE'd this card from Split Coast Stampers -- I really need to remember to make note of exactly where and from whom I borrow card ideas.  In the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit there is DSP from Lily Bee with several sheets in a zig zag design that threw me for a loop.  I had a hard time figuring out how to use those papers.  So I dug through my idea stack and came up with this.  I will be making more of this one.
