Card 17, Patchwork Hello

I am pretty sure I CASE'd this card from Split Coast Stampers -- I really need to remember to make note of exactly where and from whom I borrow card ideas.  In the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit there is DSP from Lily Bee with several sheets in a zig zag design that threw me for a loop.  I had a hard time figuring out how to use those papers.  So I dug through my idea stack and came up with this.  I will be making more of this one.

Card #8 Tea Time

One of my more frequent swaps on Swap-Bot is tea.  Usually I just put the required number of tea bags and a note in an envelope and mail it off.  One day I found a cute stamp set that would work out great for my tea swaps.  Here is one of the simple cards I made for that type of swap.  I just keep simple and flat, no bulkly bling since the tea bags will make the envelope
bulge a bit.

Card #6 Birthday Card

This card was made for a Pink, Brown and Beige Birthday Card swap on Swap-Bot.  It is one of my favorite punch techniques where you cut out the top layer then punch the image and cover the opening with DSP paper for the background and add some accent layer in the center to complete.  Very easy to do and it is a nice effect.
